Trip to HUHA ( Week 3 )

On Wednesday 7th of August, We went to HUHA with a group of 10 students including me. We saw a few horses when we arrived, Some people took a few photos, but HUHA said not to post or share any images or videos on social media.

We got to play with two puppies named Luna and Mickey on the field. They say having pets are a distraction so could it helps decrease anxiety. All the students seem to be happy and enjoying there time. Our Project was successful thanks to HUHA Support.

Anxiety

Our group is working on a community project about anxiety, The people in our group are Charlotte, Lily, Karen, Hannah, Alana and I are researching and finding ways that might help people with anxiety. We found out that animals help calm people with anxiety, cause the animal's relief stress and depression.    

Our group was thinking of make an arrangement for a trip to the SPCA or HUHA.

Through out the year

Throughout the year as a year 9. I want to learn more challenging things, Like harder maths and I need to work on my spelling and writing.
My goal are getting working done.
I want to be an active learner and learn as much as possible

Curious Cove

Curious cove

On the 12th of October the year 7s & 8s of DHT,DHD and half of the boys of EER went to curious cove, For 5 days.

We left on Monday and got back on Friday. The activity I enjoyed the most was fishing. I manage to catch 2 fish's on the jetty, The fish's I catch was quiet small but at least I caught some.
We also went to Motuara Island to see all the birds and some penguin's, We saw a few baby penguins on the walk up the hill's of Motuara Island.
After that we also went to the other side of the Island to Captain Cooks Island. We went for a walk through tree's and stop near the water fall that had fresh water from the mountain's. On the way back to Curious Cove we also saw dolphin's they were called the Maui dolphin's ,They are the rarest dolphins in the world people took lots of photos and videos.
I really enjoy going to camp.
